<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten valve search time by a worker and reduce possible human errors in field operation in a case in which the worker searches for a valve that is a work object and works on the valve. <P>SOLUTION: The valve management system using RFID tag comprises a RFID tag connected to a first valve set in a nuclear power generation facility and a reader performing transmitting and receiving of information to the RFID tag. The reader transmits identification information of a second valve that is a work object to the RFID tag, and the RFID tag transmits, upon detection of the identification information for the second valve transmitted from the reader, identification information of the first vale retained by the RFID tag to the reader.
