A method for manufacturing a functional nonwoven fabric is provided to deodorize the nonwoven fabric, prevent the rot of the nonwoven fabric due to moisture, and improve the flame-proofing performance of the nonwoven fabric. A functional fabric is manufactured by wetting an exiting nonwoven fabric(1), a silk fabric, or a cotton fabric with watery liquid(2) and drying the wetted fabric. The exiting nonwoven fabric is formed of PP(polypropylene) fibers, PET(polyethyleneterephthalate) fibers, LM(Low Middling) fibers, or hemp. The watery liquid is obtained by mixing an adhesive and at least one of loess powder, charcoal powder, silver powder, gold powder, elvan powder, and jade powder.
