<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article management method using an ID tag, for properly functioning by being installed in a hollow metallic article, and performing efficient work by facilitating the work, and a coil lifter used for the method. <P>SOLUTION: By installing the ID tag 12 on an inner surface of the hollow metallic article 11 by separating by 5 mm, radio disturbance by metal is prevented, and damage to the ID tag 12 by stacking of an article is prevented.
