<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic component in which the generation of cracks can be reduced in a junction portion between itself and a substrate or the like. <P>SOLUTION: A capacitor 1 (laminate ceramic capacitor) as one example of this electronic component is provided with a base 10 (ceramic) and a pair of external electrodes 20 formed on both surfaces of the base 10. The base 10 is formed so that a dielectric layer 12 and an internal electrode 14 are alternately laminated. The external electrode 20 has a configuration in which a first electrode layer connected to the internal electrode 14, a second electrode layer (conductive resin layer) containing a cured product of an epoxy resin principally containing an epoxy compound having a molecular weight of not less than 2,000 and having a plurality of epoxy groups, a third electrode layer made of Ni and a fourth electrode layer made of Sn are formed in this order from the base 10 side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
