PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ventilating device having a ventilating performance as well as a high waterproofing performance. SOLUTION: A ventilating device S installed to an opening made through an exterior wall of a house comprises a main body 1 installed to the opening and a covering body 3 which covers the main body 1. The main body 1 has a ventilating opening 11a penetrating from an outer wall surface to an inner wall surface of the exterior wall. The covering body 3 covers the ventilating opening 11a and is attached to the main body 1 in a detachable manner with a predetermined gap created to the main body 1, and a space created between the main body 1 and the covering body 3 interconnectes with the outside of the house.
