PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a horny plug removing cosmetic developing low irritancy while keeping excellent horny plug-removing effect. SOLUTION: The gel cosmetic contains (1) a 6-20C dibasic acid diester and (2) spherical polyethylene powder. The 6-20C dibasic acid diester is preferably selected from diethyl adipate, diisopropyl adipate and diisopropyl sebacate, the spherical polyethylene powder preferably contains at least two kinds of powder having different average particle diameters and the cosmetic preferably further contains a triglucopolysaccharide.
