<p>An inkjet printhead (14) including a substrate (20) having an ink feed slot (36) formed through a portion of the substrate and having an inside edge. A columnar group of drop generators (29A, 29B, 29C) is formed on the substrate at varying distances from the inside edge, each drop generator including an associated one or more feed openings (26-1, 26-2, 26-3) that fluidically couple the drop generator to the ink feed slot.
