An ice maker for a refrigerator is provided to maintain an ejector position to be exactly horizontal by allowing motor rotation to be exactly stopped when a full-ice-state is sensed by a full-ice-state sensing lever, and to prevent ice from being attached in an ejector by allowing the ejector to be not submerged in water. An ice maker for a refrigerator comprises a tray, a heater(120), a thermal fuse, an ejector, a motor(140), a temperature sensor, a full-ice-state sensing lever(160) and a position correction unit(180). The tray receives water and forms ice. The heater is mounted on the tray, and heats the tray before ice discharge for predetermined time. The thermal fuse is coupled to the heater, and cut when the heater is overheated. The ejector is mounted on the tray, and discharges the ice to an ice storage container. The motor rotates the ejector by a predetermined angle. The temperature sensor is mounted on the tray, and senses temperature of the tray. The full-ice-state sensing lever senses ice amount of the ice storage container. The position correction unit is located between the full-ice-state sensing lever and the motor, and allows a position of the ejector to become an exactly horizontal position in an upper part of the tray, when a full-ice- state of the ice storage container is sensed by the full-ice-state sensing lever.
