摘要 A metal sheet processing method that mass-produces a metal sheet such as an Al alloy sheet and a Mg sheet having higher strength than any conventional processing methods is provided. As a method for enhancing the yield strength of an Al or Mg workpiece, a method for manufacturing a high strength metal sheet comprises the processes of: (1) performing homogenization of an Al or Mg alloy at a temperature between 450 deg.C and a melting temperature; (2) quenching the homogenized alloy to rapidly cool the alloy; (3) performing differential speed rolling of the quenched alloy in a temperature range from a room temperature to 400 deg.C; and (4) subjecting the differential speed rolled alloy to low temperature aging in a temperature range from 80 to 150 deg.C.
