An engine (22) and motors (MG1, MG2) are controlled such that the engine (22) is started through motoring accompanied by torque output from the motor (MG2) having a rotor which is located at a predetermined rotational position when start of the engine (22) is designated under a state where a shift lever (81) is in parking position. Consequently, the engine (22) can be started through motoring even under a state where drive wheels (39a, 39b) are locked by a parking lock mechanism (90) and a ring gear shaft (32a) is disconnected from a drive shaft (36) by a transmission (60).
