Disclosed is an elastomer composition having flexibility and excellent low-temperature durability. Also disclosed are a method for producing such an elastomer composition and a pneumatic tire using such an elastomer composition. Specifically disclosed is an elastomer composition (C) having a sea-island structure wherein dispersion phases of an elastomer component (B) are finely dispersed in a matrix of a thermoplastic resin (A), wherein the volume ratio between the thermoplastic resin (A) and the elastomer component (B) satisfies the formula (I) below. Also specifically disclosed are a method for producing such an elastomer composition (C) and a pneumatic tire using such an elastomer composition (C). fd/fm > ?d/?m (In the formula, fd and ?d respectively represent the volume fraction and melt viscosity of the elastomer component (B), and fm and ?m respectively represent the volume fraction and melt viscosity of the thermoplastic resin (A).)
