A washing tub of a washing machine is provided to prevent speed of a pulsator from being decreased and to prevent damage of a motor by projecting a first foreign material preventive unit at an end of the pulsator and forming a second foreign material preventive unit at a bottom surface of the inner tub. A washing tub of a washing machine comprises an inner tub(12), a pulsator(14), a first foreign material preventive unit(40), and a second foreign material preventive unit(42). The water and the laundry are received in the inner tub and are cleaned. The pulsator is rotatably installed at a bottom surface of the inner tub and generates rotary water current. The first foreign material preventive unit is projected at an end of the pulsator. The second foreign material preventive unit is formed at the bottom surface of the inner tub to allow the first foreign material preventive unit to be rotatably inserted. |
