PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accomplish a monitor system in which communication packets can be reduced, the man-hour for monitoring can be reduced, and an area to be monitored can be monitored while moving the area in accordance with the situation. SOLUTION: The monitor system comprises: a network; one or more devices each connected to the network and including a communication function; and a monitoring terminal which designates a central point and a radius, defines the inside of a circle which defines the central point as a center and is determined by the radius, as an area to be monitored, selects a device within the area to be monitored using geographical location information of the devices and monitors the selected device via the network.
