VACUUM CARBURIZATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum carburization method using an acetylene gas which is capable of efficiently performing the excellent carburization treatment. SOLUTION: In the vacuum carburization method for heating and carburizing a work for treatment while feeding acetylene gas to a carburization furnace under a predetermined vacuum atmosphere, the feed of the acetylene gas is increased according to an increase of the treatment temperature at the carburization. The feed of the acetylene gas is changed by the preset coefficient according to the heating temperature during the carburization. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
