PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aliphatic polyester fiber having both advantages of excellent process-through property by spunlacing method and water absorption properties excellent in endurance. SOLUTION: The polylactic acid fiber for spun lace nonwoven fabric is obtained by adding (B) 0.09-0.5 wt.% oil solution for addition of fiber surface containing a block type polyether ester copolymer obtained from an aromatic dicarboxylic acid, ethylene glycol and a polyoxyethylene-added alkyl ether or a polyoxyethylene-added phenyl ether as a component onto the surface of a fiber having≤2.2 dtex single yarn fineness,≥10 crests/25 mm number of crimps and≥10% and≤15% crimp percent.
