PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding device capable of maintaining high operation accuracy at a low cost. SOLUTION: The sliding device 1 is provided with a first member 2 and a second member 3 performing relatively linear movement under a loaded condition. The second member 3 is provided with an electrocast portion 4 with an end in a section perpendicular to a linear movement direction, and the electrocast portion 4 has a load applied surface to which the load is applied. The load applied surface the easiest to advance wearing among the sliding devices of this type is excellent in accuracy, wear resistance and heat resistance with the usage of the properties of electrocasting, and therefore, the sliding device 1 exhibiting high operation accuracy can be manufactured at a low cost.
