摘要 A wireless network system using PLC(Power Line Communication) is provided to enlarge the range of utilization of UWB(Ultra Wide-Band) communication by using high-speed PLC and minimizing shadow areas, which can be generated in case of connecting a system which is capable of transmitting UWB signals by using PLC with one or more existing UWB networks. A wireless network system using PLC comprises the first piconet(250), a UWB repeater part(220), and a power line part(210). The first piconet(250) includes one or more UWB devices(251-253) which create UWB data signals. The UWB repeater part(220) converts the created UWB data signals into PLC data signals. The power line part(210) physically connects the first piconet(250) with the second piconet(260), and transmits the converted PLC data signals to the second piconet(260). Each of the UWB data signals created from the UWB devices(251-253) includes a piconet identifier and a destination address.
