PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a locking apparatus, a lock management method, a locking method, a locker and a lock management program by which a lock is used stand-alone by communication between a key and the lock. SOLUTION: The locking apparatus 10 has a key 70 comprising a key memory part 80 which stores a key unique ID number, a lock number and a lock opening/closing flag and a key transmitting/receiving part 90 which transmits/receives the key unique ID number and the lock opening/closing flag and receives the lock number and the lock 20 having the locking mechanism 60 which opens/closes the lock, a lock memory part 30 which stores the key unique ID number and the lock number, a lock transmitting/receiving part 40 which receives the key unique ID number and the lock opening/closing flag transmitted from the key and a lock management part 50 which manages opening/closing of the lock.
