<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for producing hydrogen in which the availability of energy can be enhanced and equipment can be simplified. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus for producing hydrogen has a raw material supply system 104 for supplying mixed steam containing a fuel gas and raw material steam and a reformer 103 for forming hydrogen by steam reforming the mixed steam introduced from the raw material supply system 104 by heating the mixed steam with steam for heating, produced in a steam production utilization facility 101. The reformer 103 is equipped with: a plurality of reaction tubes 111 into each of which the mixed steam is introduced; a catalyst 115 which is provided in each reaction tube 111 and facilitates steam reforming of the mixed steam to form hydrogen; a heat medium oil 113 which is stored in each shell 112 and is brought into contact with the outer surface of each reaction tube 111, and steam tubes 114 which are each immersed in the heat medium oil 113 and heat the heat medium oil 113 by introducing the steam for heating, produced in the steam production utilization facility 101. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
