A supporting post for construction is provided to regulate the height of an inner support pipe inserted to an outer support pipe easily and conveniently using a height regulator. A supporting post(100) for supporting a ceiling form at the construction of a concrete structure comprises an outer support pipe(110) provided with a lower support plate(111), a spiral portion(112) and a coupling hole(113), an inner support pipe(120) inserted to the outer support pipe and provided with an upper support plate(121) supporting a ceiling form, a coupling hole(122) and a retreated groove(123) having saw-teeth(123a), a height regulator(130) inserted to the spiral portion of the outer support pipe to support the saw-teeth formed on the retreated groove of the inner support pipe and to regulate the height of the inner support pipe in the vertical direction, a fixture(140) placed on the outer circumference of the height regulator to couple the outer support pipe and the inner support pipe strongly without movement, and a height regulating body(150) located on the lower part of the height regulator and provided with a spiral portion to couple with the spiral portion of the outer support pipe and projections to rotate easily to move the height regulator minutely in the vertical direction.
