<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dry type toner that hardly causes the wear of a member of an image forming device and maintains a stable image quality over a long period of time. <P>SOLUTION: The toner consists at least of a binding resin, toner particles containing wax, and inorganic particulates sticking on the surfaces of the toner particles, and has ≥0.970 mean circularity and the ratio (Y/X) of the amount of an organic volatile component (Y) at 150°C to the amount of organic volatile component (X) at 100°C is ≥1.5, wherein X being ≤200 ppm and Y being 10 to 400 ppm.
