<p>A method for receiving multicast and broadcast service (MBS) is disclosed, the method firstly adds the receiving information about the next MBS_MAP message in the MBS_MAP message; secondly, after receiving the MBS service based on the first MBS_MAP message and when receiving the each subsequent MBS_MAP message, MSS determines the receiving information about the next MBS_MAP message based on the receiving MBS_MAP message currently and the added receiving information in this message, and receives the next MBS_MAP message based on the determined receiving information, and then receives the MBS service based on the received MBS_MAP message. Another two methods for receiving MBS service are also disclosed. MSS could continuously receives the MBS service without frequently receiving the MBS_MAP message by using the invention.</p> |
