A system and a method for manufacturing a flat panel display are provided to secure accuracy by detecting an alignment state of a tape carrier package twice and performing preliminarily press, and reduce TACT(Total Average Cycle Time) by continuously transferring the tape carrier package through a rotary stage and a plurality of member securing parts. A member supply device(100) supplies a member(10). A basic material supply device(300) supplies basic materials(30). A transfer device(500) receives the member and transfers the member to the basic materials, and preliminarily presses the transferred member to the basic materials. The transfer device includes a driving unit(510), a rotary stage(520) rotated by the driving unit at a set angle, a plurality of member securing parts(530) installed on the rotary stage at the set angle, and a detecting unit(540) firstly detecting an alignment state of the member at a position right before transferring to the basic materials, and secondarily detecting the alignment state of the member at a position that the member is transferred to the basic materials. |
