The frame (1) has an upper edge (2) on which a head-restraint assembling device (3) is integrated. The device has two metallic rods (4) welded in a welding zone arranged near lower ends of the rods on both sides of a longitudinal symmetric plane of the frame. Each rod has a rectilinear zone (7) extending vertically towards upper ends of the rods. Each zone (7) is inserted in respective housing provided on both sides of a head-restraint. One rod has a clearance zone (9) arranged between the rectilinear and welding zones to permit elastic clearance between the rectilinear and welding zones. An independent claim is also included for a method for welding two rods on an upper edge of a frame.
