<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for oxidizing and removing aldehyde gas imparting a satisfactory removing performance for a long term in the temperature and moisture area in public life, and less affecting the environmen pollution. <P>SOLUTION: A silver-iron type remover which keeps a molar ratio (Ag/Fe) of silver and iron elements ranging 0.001-1 and has a BET specific surface area of 50 m<SP>2</SP>/g or more is brought in a contact with the aldehyde gas. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
