PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a keratotic plug-remover having little irritation to the skin, being safe and capable of removing keratotic plugs without taking waiting time, simply removing an adhesive by washing when the adhesive remains after peeling and further visually recognizing the removed keratotic plugs, etc., and to provide a method for removing the keratotic plug. SOLUTION: The keratotic plug-remover comprises at most deca-saccharide and water and has 10,000-500,000 Pa s complex viscosity in 1.0 Hz at 20°C and the agent is pasty. The kit comprises the keratotic plug-remover and an instruction in which a method for using the agent is described. The method for removing the keratotic plug comprises pressing the keratotic plug-remover to the skin by≥500 gf/cm<SP>2</SP>pressure and peeling the remover at a rate of≥10 cm/sec.
