A control device for saving vehicle fuel and a control method thereof are provided to reduce an amount of fuel injected from an injector and advancing ignition timing, thereby reducing the fuel. A control device for saving vehicle fuel includes a map sensor(1010), a compensation voltage generation part(1020), a map sensor voltage synthesizing part(1030), an oxygen sensor(1040), an oxygen sensor voltage synthesizing part(1050), an electronic control unit(1000), an injector(130), and an ignition plug(140). The map sensor detects vacuum variation of a suction surge tank. The oxygen sensor detects oxygen concentration of an exhaust gas. The compensation voltage generation part outputs a map sensor compensation voltage and an oxygen sensor compensation voltage on the basis of a map sensor compensation control signal and an oxygen sensor compensation voltage control signal input from the electronic control unit. |
