PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To promote manufacturing efficiency of an exhaust pipe of the internal combustion engine having a passage cross section divided into three, reduction of the cost, and reduction of the weight. SOLUTION: A square plate material 11 is curved, and parallel both side ends 11a and 11b of the plate material 11 and an intermediate part 11c parallel to the both side ends 11a and 11b are put together in one portion and joined by welding 31, and both side ends 11d and 11e are joined by welding 32 while having the joining part therebetween, and thereby, the exhaust pipe 2 of the internal combustion engine having the passage cross section wherein a circular cross section is divided into three is manufactured.
