<p>Provided is a lens array, which can be easily manufactured and finely worked, while suppressing the dispersion of an optical axis due to a working precision, and the eccentricity of liquid droplets at a voltage-driven time. The lens array (40) is constituted such that a hermetic cell (50) filled with a first conductive liquid (51) and a second insulating liquid (or liquid droplets) (52) without any mutual admixture is formed two-dimensionally therein with a plurality of pyramid recesses (48) for containing the liquid droplets (52). The recesses (48) are formed in the pyramid shape, so that the centering property of the liquid droplets (52) to be contained in those recesses can be enhanced to suppress the dispersion of the optical axis of a lens element to be formed by the interface (53) of the liquid droplets (52). The optical axis can also be stably held to prevent the eccentricity of the liquid droplets (52) at the voltage-driven time. As compared with the case, in which the recesses (48) are conical, moreover, the fine working can be facilitated to arrange the recesses densely.</p> |
