<p>The gauge (12) has a spindle (11), and gauge units (13, 15) fastened to the spindle. The gauge units include a discrete number of gauge surfaces that are arranged opposite to each other in pairs. A distance between the gauge surfaces differs for each pair so that the size of the gap formed between the surfaces can be determined or adjusted.
