NONAQUEOUS ELECTROLYTIC SOLUTION SECONDARY BATTERY, BATTERY PACK USING IT, AND ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve accuracy of residual capacity detection function based on detection of battery voltage during discharging, by optimizing a discharge curve shape of a nonaqueous electrolytic solution secondary battery.

SOLUTION: Residual capacity detection can be reliably performed even if a main unit of equipment is prone to change its load current, by making gradient of the battery voltage -0.08 V/(10% DOD) or less in the depth of discharge (DOD) range of 0 to 90%, in the discharge curve at the discharging time of 0.2 C after charging at constant voltage 4.2 V/constant current 1C.
