<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow cooling individual portions where temperatures rise within an image forming apparatus, and to stably cool a plurality of portions where the temperatures rise in variable ways, in various operation modes or when coping with errors. <P>SOLUTION: In the image forming apparatus, having a plurality of cooling parts which are installed in the plurality of portions where the temperatures rise, and cool these portions, a cooling method selectively switches each cooling part to a cooling state or a non-cooling state to selectively cool these portions, whereby only the portions that need to be cooled can be cooled stably and the cooling efficiency is improved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
