PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a configuration in which a proper content code can be selected and executed in accordance with each information processing device.

SOLUTION: In the configuration for executing a security check or content data conversion processing according to a content code recorded on an information recording medium, device confirmation processing is executed by applying thereto a device certificate and a model version certificate stored in an information processing device, and data processing is executed by applying thereto a content code corresponding to a device identifier obtained by device confirmation. The content code includes data encrypted by a key selected from a set of keys distributed to the information processing device, so that application processing of the selected content code can be performed only in a specific set of the information processing device.
