An image sensor (6) is received in the module body. The continuous through-connection (7) is provided for connecting image sensor through the housing. The module body is composed of multiple module elements (2,3,4,5,6,7) connected with each other in fused joint (20). An independent claim is included for a method for the production of camera module, which involves manufacturing of multiple module elements.
