PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner attaining reduction in blower operation noise and the improvement of air blower performance in a wide operation range and having excellent safety properties. SOLUTION: The air conditioner is composed of an air blow fan 3a, a bell-mouth 4a provided at the outer circumference of the air blow fan 3a, a controller 10 for controlling the action of equipment and a heat radiation part 10c provided at the controller 10. The bell-mouth 4a has flat surface parts (4a-1, 4a-2 and 4a-3) extending in a direction approximately vertical to a center shaft of the air blow fan 3a around it and a flat surface is not formed (4a-4) at a section facing the heat radiation part 10c. Thus, the air conditioner attains the improvement of usability and the improvement of performance by reducing noise and the improvement of safety properties by improving a cooling effect of the controller.
