<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress deformation progressed for a long period caused by application of stress on an adhesive layer for fixing an optical module, and the optical axis shifting of an optical pickup device caused by the deformation, and to enhance heat discharging performance of the optical pickup device. <P>SOLUTION: In the optical pickup device constructed by bonding and fixing an optical module 4 having an optical element to a pickup case 1, the optical module 4 is fixed to the pickup case by first ultraviolet curable adhesives 9 in at least two places sandwiching an optical axis extended from the optical element to the pickup case 1, at least a part of the exposed surface of the first ultraviolet curable adhesive 9 is covered with a second ultraviolet curable adhesive 11 of higher hardness or elastic modulus to reduce the "optical axis shifting" of the optical pickup device, and a heat discharging material 10 having higher heat conductivity than the first and second ultraviolet curable adhesives 9 and 11 is brought into contact with the optical module 4 and the optical pickup case 1 to enhance heat discharging performance of the optical pickup device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
