<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coordinate detection system for accurately detecting coordinates while suppressing costs. <P>SOLUTION: This coordinate detection system is provided with a touch pen for touching a coordinate input surface 101 and a coordinate detection device 100 for detecting the coordinates of a touched point. The touch pen is provided with a reflector near a contact surface in contact with the coordinate input surface 101, and the coordinate detection device 100 is provided with a first light emitting means 102A and a second light emitting means 102B arranged adjacently to the coordinate input surface 101; a first light receiving means 104A and a second light receiving means 104B arranged adjacently to the first light emitting means 102A and the second light emitting means 102B for detecting a touch point direction where light receiving intensity is higher than the other region corresponding to the reflector; and a calculation control means 105 for calculating the coordinates of the touch point based on the touch point direction detected by the first light receiving means 104A and the second light receiving means 104B. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
