<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hinge cap capable of suppressing an increase in the pressure of air in the cap caused by the heating, preventing an upper lid of the hinge cap from being opened by the increase in the pressure, and preventing ingress of hot water into the cap when taking a hot water shower. <P>SOLUTION: In the hinge cap attached to a mouth portion of a container and consisting of a cap body and an upper lid, the cap body is equipped with a spouting cylinder, and an engaging cylindrical part to be attached to the mouth portion of the container. A lid engaging part is protruded on an upper portion of the engaging cylindrical part. The upper lid is equipped with a top wall, an outer cylindrical wall, and an inner cylindrical wall provided on an undersurface of the top wall in a hanging manner and engaged with an inner periphery of an upper portion of the spouting cylinder of the cap body. An engaging part which is abutted on a lid engaging face of the lid engaging part of the cap body and engaged therewith when the lid is closed is provided on an inner periphery of a lower end of an outer cylindrical wall. A rib engaged with an inner periphery of the spouting cylinder of the cap body when a plug is fitted is arranged on an outer periphery of the inner cylindrical wall. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
