Power supply voltage to be supplied to a microprocessor is optimized. A judging section (22) judges the state of a microprocessor (10). A setting section (24) sets power supply voltage (Vdd) to be supplied to the microprocessor (10) according to the state of the microprocessor (10) judged by the judging section (22). A power supply circuit (26) supplies the power supply voltage (Vdd) set by the setting section (24) to the microprocessor (10) via a power supply line (12). The judging section (22) judges the state of the microprocessor (10) for each predetermined timing and the setting section (24) resets the power supply voltage (Vdd) for each judgment made by the judging section (22).
