A method and a system for providing a destination arrival notification service for aircraft passengers are provided to automatically notify the passenger of airplane arrival information including arrival date, a country name, and an airport name if an airplane arrives at a destination by linking with an airline server and an SMS server. An airline terminal(170) generates and transmits airplane arrival information to the airline server(160). The airline server transmits the airplane arrival information received from the airline terminal to a telecommunication company server(130). The telecommunication company server receives mobile number setting information from a mobile terminal, receives the airplane arrival information from the airline server, and transmits the airplane arrival information to the predetermined mobile number by using the SMS server(150). An airplane arrival information database(140) stores the mobile number setting information and the airplane arrival information. |
