PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suspension device capable of changing the load-stroke characteristic without changing the vehicle height. SOLUTION: The suspension device comprises a coil spring 13 and a shock absorber 12 which are displaced by a shock from an axle to a vehicle body to mitigate the shock, and a bumper stopper 14 for preventing any excessive displacement of the coil spring 13. The bumper stopper 14 is provided in an expandable manner along the displacement direction of the coil spring 13 and the shock absorber 12, regulates the displacement of the coil spring 13 and the shock absorber 12 when it is expanded, and functions as a spring means in a state in which the displacement of the coil spring 13 and the shock absorber 12 is regulated.
