PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steam superheating device capable of generating superheated steam in a short time; and to provide a steam cooker using it. SOLUTION: This steam superheating device 20 is provided with at least a supersonic oscillator 1 being a mist generator for generating mist 2 from water 14, and a superheating part 3 for heating the mist 2 to generate superheated steam 6. According to this invention, steam is generated by heating the mist 2. The generated steam is thereafter superheated above 100°C, whereby the superheated steam 6 can be generated.
