WAVEFORM ANALYSIS SYSTEM USING SELF-ORGANIZING MAP, METHOD AND PROGRAM FOR CREATING SELF-ORGANIZING MAP FOR WAVEFORM ANALYSIS, AND PULSE WAVE ANALYSIS SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform waveform classification close to human judgment concerning waveform analysis using a self-organizing map (SOM).

SOLUTION: A waveform analysis system using the self-organizing map for learning with the use of waveform data as an input vector includes: a waveform processing part (15) for inputting the waveform data and applying prescribed normalization processing to the input waveform data; and an SOM processing part (13) for creating the self-organizing map by using the normalized waveform data as the input vector. The waveform processing part (15) normalizes the waveform data so that a position on a time axis in the input vector concerning at least two maxima or minima included in the waveform data of one period is to be a prescribed position.
