PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate work and to ensure installation without needing a silicone sealer. SOLUTION: A fitting for a partition comprises a base fixed to the ceiling side; a first rising wall part rising from the base; a second rising wall part rising from the base in parallel with the first rising wall part and higher than the first rising wall; a panel insertion part formed between the first and second rising wall parts; and bent parts formed at the tip parts of the first and second rising wall parts and bent onto the inside of the panel insertion part so as to come in pressure contact with a panel when the panel is gripped. A space between the bent parts shown by the spacing of imaginary lines placed respectively parallel with the first and second rising wall parts is smaller than the width of the panel. The first and second rising wall parts are formed with openings for inserting the panel obliquely from the bent part side of the first rising wall part toward the bent part side of the second rising wall part, using the length differenceΔH of the first and second rising wall parts when inserting the panel, and the bent parts of the first and second rising wall parts are pushed open by the panel by turning the panel.
