A method for manufacturing a mass member for an oil supply device of a linear compressor is provided to reduce a unit cost of the mass member by manufacturing the mass member by using a sintering process. A method for manufacturing a mass member for an oil supply device of a linear compressor comprises the steps of forming any one of powders of self-lubricating material and iron group material and sintering(S10), and performing more than one post-processing process among a vapor processing process(S12), a grinding process and a surface treatment process(S13). The mass member linearly reciprocates in an oil cylinder inside a shell of the linear compressor.
