An outdoor unit for an air conditioner is provided to easily supply a power supply to a motor shaft and a stator, and to allow a blow fan to be rotated more smoothly by using a BLDC motor including the inside stator and the motor shaft, an outside rotor is formed to be rotated, and a blow fan is fixedly installed in an outer side of the rotor. An outdoor unit for an air conditioner comprises a cabinet, a heater exchanger, a motor(220), a blow fan(210) and a fan housing(230). The heat exchanger is installed in one side of the cabinet, and performs heat exchange. The motor includes a stator wound on outer circumferential surfaces of a plurality of bobbins by coil and forming a magnetic field, and a rotor installed so as to wrap an outer side of the stator and allowing a plurality of permanent magnets to be attached. The blow fan is connection-installed in the motor and rotated by rotation power generated in the motor. The fan housing is installed so as to wrap an outer side of the blow fan, and guides air forcibly flowed by the blow fan.
