A functional wheel chair is provided to comprise a connection unit for being connected to a bed and to make a chair movable to a bed to transfer a patient to the bed more easily. A functional wheel chair includes a main support(100), a connection device(300), a chair(400), and an ascending/descending device(200). The ascending/descending device(200) includes an ascending/descending frame(210), a pivoting triangle plate(230), a rotation shaft(260) and a motor(290). The rotation shaft(260) is installed on the upper parts of the main frame and a fixed ascending/descending frame, and has gear teeth and a worm formed in the middle thereof. The pivoting shaft is pivotally fixed on an internal gear engaged with the worm. The ascending/descending frame ascends and descends by the pivoting of the triangle plates installed on the both ends of the triangle connection rod.
