The proposed compensated accelerometer with an optical angular position transducer contains a casing, a pendulum detecting element, which is fixed in the casing by an elastic suspension link, an optical angular position transducer for the detecting element, and a torque motor. The angular position transducer contains an optical radiation source, a differential photodetector, and a screen arranged between the optical radiation source and the photodetector. The torque motor contains a magnetic system, which is installed at the upper part of the casing, and a coil, which is fixed to the detecting element. The magnetic system contains an internal magnetic core, an external magnetic core, and a ring-shaped permanent magnet, the direction of magnetization of which is parallel to the longitudinal axis of the detecting element. The coil of the torque motor is arranged in the gap between the external magnetic core and the detecting element. The detecting element contains a plate for the coil of the torque motor, a screen with a slot that is directed along the longitudinal axis of the detecting element, and a weight.
