FIELD: mechanical engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed piston engine includes cylinder, piston reciprocating in cylinder in direction X, connecting rod connected for rotation on section by small end with piston by means of piston pin, ring grooves arranged contiguously relative to each other in direction X and made in peripheral side surface of piston, piston rings fitted in ring grooves and divider for dividing ring space between piston rings into semiring space taking up side pressure and semiring space not taking up side pressure, and communicating device providing communication of space taking up side pressure with combustion chamber when fuel-air mixture is combusted. Divider has at least one pair of limiting elements fitted in second ring groove to limit intercommunication of space taking up side pressure and space not taking up side pressure through clearance formed between lower surface setting limits of second groove and inner peripheral surface of said second piston ring opposite to said lower surface. Pair of limiting elements is arranged so that elements are located opposite to each other along axial direction of piston pin connecting said piston and connecting rod. ^ EFFECT: reduced sliding friction resistance between piston and inner surface of cylinder, reduced knocks in engine appearing between piston and inner surface of cylinder. ^ 18 cl, 13 dwg |
