PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve efficiency in checking consistency between a file management state of a file system and a file management state of a management file. SOLUTION: When performing index display, each time an index image is processed for each content file to be displayed within the index display, a consistency check is performed for a content file to be processed. Furthermore, in the consistency check, contents of file system management information for a content file to be checked and contents of management information items shared with a management file are compared.
